XFWC Universal Championship Elimination Tournament

The XFWC Universal Championship tournament will be starting this week! Check out the first round matchups and analysis.

#1 Axl Grynder vs. #8 Lazarix

By virtue of winning the Reset Rumble Axl Grynder was awarded the Inter-Galactic belt and is determined to add the Universal championship to his collection. Axl faces a tough match up though with the alien Lazarix. Lazarix is an accomplished technical wrestler that uses telekinetic pulse blasts to rock his opponent with each manuever. This will be a battle of polar opposites as the massive Axl looks to brawl his way through the diminutive alien en route to the next round.
This is what the two combatants had to say:

Axl Grynder: " That puny thin skinned alien is gonna regret the day he wandered from his momma and stepped into the ring with me! Lazarix, your mind games won't work on me!"

Lazarix: Using telepathy "Axl is another muscle bound, fool human with no idea of my power. Were it not for the hated Order, I would enslave him and treat him like the cattle you humans are."

#2 Eeter P. Purple vs. #7 Gaul Maladren













Purple faces a tough first round matchup in the Dracon Gaul Maladren. Gaul is a powerful brawler and dislikes Sceleraths almost as much as the Vis'Robur. Purple though is unfazed with the gargantuan Dracon's physical prowess and hinted at using any means necessary to win this match. Here's what the two combatants had to say:
Eeter P. Purple: "Big, green and ugly, I'm gonna murder you like I did my foster parents! I only hope your flesh taste as good as the flesh of humans!"
Gaul Maladren: "You Sceleraths are without honor and you among them Purple, are even worse. Know that I pity you but when we step into the ring, I will show no mercy!"


#3 Theraxtor vs. #6 Drudge














This fight means more to the combatants than just advancing to the next round. These two superstars are fighting for their nations pride. Vis'Robur and Scelerath hate each other with a passion and in unlawful areas of the universe, kill each other on sight. This is also a classic brawler versus technician bout as Theraxtor is a deadly submission expert and Drudge is a street fighting rough neck with a bad attitude. Drudge also holds a large strength advantage over his foe but Theraxtor's vastly superior intelligence should find a way to even the odds. Here's what the two combatants had to say:

Theraxtor: "Enslaved one, It will be my pleasure to wrap you in chains once again. You have been allowed to run free for much to long! Muahahaha!"
Drudge: "I'm gonna SMASH you into a bloody purple pulp! And then when i'm done smashing you, I'M GONNA SMASH YOU SOME MORE!"

#4 Cold Stone vs. #5 Cruzader














Another fight of total opposites, this one pits the foul mouth super human Cold Stone against the cyborg mutant and religious fanatic Cruzader. Cold Stone prefers to batter his foes into submission and knock them cold, all the while swearing at them and throwing vulgar gestures there way. Cruzader on the other hand spouts off his deranged religious beliefs to the crowd and his opponent and forces his foe to repent their "sins" by using his submission skills and blasting at them with his pulsar cannon. Here's what the two opponents had to say:

Cold Stone: "What!? What!? Your skinny little @$$ is in for a F@$&% serios @$$ whooping! I'm a beat you so bad your MOMMA is gonna wake up with two black eyes! Where's my damn beer at!"

Cruzader: "Levi 13:69: And the voice of the many spoke unto his prophets and commanded them to purge the world of sinners and stain the face of earth with their blood."

The Reset Rumble!

The action was furious as the XFWC wrestlers viciously assaulted each other in hopes of winning the Inter-Galactic belt and a spot in the Universal Championship tournament. A gravitational field was set just outside of the ring to ensure that any flying competitors were slammed into the ground once they were eliminated to prevent them from just flying back into the ring. Armand’ Sol was the first to be heaved out the ring and onto the hard concrete floor 15’ below him but was not the last as one by one the competitors eliminated each other. Disco Dazzle put on a thrilling show eliminating four superstars including The Darkling who was a favorite to make the top eight. Unfortunately for Disco the effort he put in was all for naught as he himself was eliminated by Gaul Maladren. Theraxtor threw in some moral victories for his race by eliminating the Sceleraths main rival’s champions, Gaul Maladren and Drudge, and made it into the top eight. Another Scelerath, Lazarix also finished in the top eight. Finally there were only two superstars left standing, Axl Grynder & the Vis’ Robur Eeter P. Purple. After trading blows to the delight of the crowd Axl ended the battle royal by viciously power bombing Eeter out of the ring, and winning the Inter-Galactic Championship Belt and earning himself the top seed in the tournament for the Universal Championship Belt. G.O.N. Drops Bombshell on XFWC!

In an effort to boost ratings of the universes most popular sport the Galactic Order of Nations has ordered the XFWC commissioner to hit the reset button! All titles are now forfeited and win/loss records are all back at zero. In addition the XFWC was ordered to hold a 20 “man” battle royal to start this season with a bang. The last 8 XFWC superstars to be eliminated will be entered into a tournament for the Universal Championship. In addition, the winner of the battle royal will also be crowned Inter-Galactic champion as well as be entered into the tournament! The battel royal was ordered to take place shortly so stay tuned!

Red Raider was formerly an inter-galactic mercenary but found the money hard to come by and the risk to great. Red Raider decided to try the XFWC to make some quick cash. Using his lethal skills he quickly established himself as a legit threat to the other XFWC superstars. With dollar signs in his eyes the Red Raider is determined to become the XFWC Universal Champion and God (or whoever you worship) help those that stand in his way.

The Marine is a prototypical soldier for the United Nations of Earth. Enhanced biologically with super soldier serum and technologically with cybernetic armor the Marine is a representative of the UNE’s first line of defense. This marine’s name and homeland are classified. Basically he competes as a XFWC superstar as a PR campaign to attract young men and women to enlist for service. An all around balanced competitor the Marine finishes foes off with his top rope DDT that he calls Casus Belli.

Eeter P. Purple is a Vis’ Robur refugee raised by humans. Unfortunately, his human “saviors” were cruel and sadistic monsters that mentally and physically abused Eeter constantly. Some say life as a Scelerath slave would have been a much better alternative. One day Eeter vicously murdered his foster parents in there sleep and ate them. From there on Eeter became a human hating serial killer with a taste for human flesh. Originally sentenced to death for his crimes by the United Nations of Earth, Eeter was rescued by a mysterious group known as the Khabal and a bargain was reached with the UNE (with a little prompting from the Galactic Order of Nations). As part of the deal Eeter participates in the XFWC but some say he still secretly hunts and murders humans for fun in his spare time.

Luscious was once an over ambitious sorcerer. In an attempt to harness the raging power of the abyss he was possessed by a warrior demon. Luscious proved to be no match for the demon who had conquered many souls in this millennium and many before it. Luscious body and magical ability were corrupted and the demon went on a rampage before finally being contained by a force of Dracon’s and Vis’ Robur. After resisting multiple exorcism attempts the powers that be of the Galactic Order of Nations decided if they were stuck with this stubborn demon they might as well put it to use.  So now Luscious feeds his craving for violence on a nightly basis in the XFWC.

Lazarix was a Scelerath High Noble and successor to the Emperors Seat . While scouting distant planets for slaves and resources the Vis’ Robur staged a successful rebellion with the aid of the United Nations of Earth. Many believe that if Lazarix was there to lead his fellow “men” the rebellion would have ended very differently. Nevertheless, realizing that the Galactic Order of Nations was backing the Vis’ Robur, Lazarix agreed to join the XFWC and leave the Vis’ Robur in peace. While he wrestles for the entertainment of the masses Lazarix is secretly plotting a rebellion of his own. A powerful telepath Lazarix prefers to stun his enemies to submission and uses a powerful mind blast as a finisher.

Gaul Maladren is a member of an honorable race of dragon men that have lived in secret for many many centuries. Only recently emerging from their subterranean cities the Dracon find humans fascinating and enjoy spending time with humans. Dracon’s generally get along well with Vis’Robur but hate slavery and look down upon the Scelerath. Gaul is a champion of the Dracon and represents there race for the XFWC.

Disco Dazzle was a 70’s era superspy for the United States of America. His body was cryogenically frozen in a top secret government program. When the USA was torn apart by multiple rebellions his frozen body was lost amid the turmoil. After many years of war a new nation was formed and merged with the worlds other power nations to form the United Nations of Earth. Upon discovery of the frozen super spy the UNE “defrosted” him making Disco Dazzle the oldest living person in the known galaxy.

Self professed prophet of the future, Cruzader is a deranged and insane cyborg mutant. Cruzader pushes his bizarre religious beliefs on people (the “unbelievers” to him) and if they refuse to repent their sins he takes it upon himself to force them physically and brutality to repent their sins. That’s if he doesn’t decide to just murder them in the name of his god as heretics. Due to a religion exemption in the New Charter & Rights Decree of 2633 the Cruzader can not be tried for murder but instead is forced to compete in the XFWC. Cruzader graciously obliges, he knows that there is no better spotlight than the universes most highly watched show to push his deranged religious beliefs.

Axl Grynder was a tough as nails street tough that caught the eye of a shadowy organization known as the Khabal. The Khabal promised Axl riches beyond imagination and strength without equal. Having already conquered the slums where he grew up Axl decided why not? The Khabal subjected him to a series of experiments that enhanced his strength to super hero status but also twisted him into a sinister and sadistic psychopath. Now Axl wrestles on behalf of the Khabal and uses his street fighting expertise to punish his opponents, laughing with glee at the vicious injuries he submits to his opponents.
